It is on the port’s south side next to Jetty Park Viewpoint and closest to the channel exit. Cruise Terminal 1 has two covered elevated gangways for embarking and debarking passengers to use. These automated movable walkways connect with the second-floor loading bridge of the passenger terminal. There is also a separate gangway and processing area for the ship’s crew. Parking is on your right so you will want to be in the rightmost lane, exiting just before you reach the parking garage and surface lot. If you are sailing Royal Caribbean, you will take a right after exiting from the main road into the port.

Currently, Royal Caribbean has plans for Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, and Mariner of the Seas to cruise from Port Canaveral. If you're sailing out of Terminal 1, Royal Caribbean's terminal, you can walk to a few waterfront restaurants, including Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar (500 Glen Cheek Drive, Cape Canaveral).

CT5 has a brand-new garage with a covered walkway on the second floor that brings passengers directly into the terminal. CT6 is a covered parking garage right next to where your ship docks. If you plan to stay near the airport the night before your cruise, you'll find plenty of hotels that offer free shuttle pickup service from the airport. But because of the distance from the airports to Port Canaveral, you won't find free shuttles to the cruise terminal (there are some paid options). For free airport transfers, you need to stay at a hotel close to Port Canaveral.

Port Canaveral – Port Canaveral is reconfiguring its public boat trailer parking near the Freddie Patrick Park Boat Ramp to accommodate construction of a state-of-the art Cruise Terminal 3. Access to the public boat ramps remains unchanged, as well as the trailer washdown facilities. The boat ramp will remain open during all phases of construction with no reduction in boat-trailer parking spaces. So, you need not worry about finding the right place to stay. Your specific requirements will determine where to stay.
